Working title: Vegan Dog And Cat

Two people tested the site. Both are vegetarian, both have dogs.
Find a recipe for dog food on the site and then tell me about vegan cats. Can cats be vegan? What are the main problems with vegan cats.
One of the users couldn’t find any recipes for cat food and was annoyed by that. But immediately found all of the other information. I have changed the navigation on the site due to problems I uncovered during the alpha test. During the alpha test I found that people could not find the recipe for dog food, but one user said that now the recipe is “super easy” to find.
Both users were able to easily tell me about vegan cats, and were also able to describe the issues involved with trying to maintain a cat on a vegan diet.
The talk that I had with both users said they would like to see more photos of vegan cats and dogs. One user said that a video on how to make vegan dog food would be very helpful as well.
The home page needed more of an explanation about what exactly the website was going to cover. One of the users did not like that the homepage said “ please look around”. This was not very helpful in piquing interest in the site. Also, one user said that background information about the author of the site would be helpful as well as my qualifications.
Both users liked the color scheme of the website and liked the non-threatening layout. Often vegan sites can be a little harsh.
As a result of the beta test, I will make the following changes:
* I will add information about myself and what my qualifications are for running the website.
* I will add a more interesting summary of what the website is about to try to gain reader interest.
* I will not add video at this point. I will eventually think about doing cooking videos for the dog and cat food recipes, but at this point, I simply do not have the time.
